This is Gabriel Scara: The Artist.
Skirting the edge of logic and reason, flying in the face of convention, sliding down the slippery slope of nature, grossly miscalculating his own abilities, and having a blast doing it. Using wit and whimsy to defeat the powers of darkness, Gabriel Scara is his own man. He also happens to be a local artist in Tucson, Arizona.
Gabe has been making art in Tucson for over ten years. His work has shown in several galleries across Southern Arizona. It is a testament to his talent that, when driving through most neighborhoods in Tucson, one can spot Gabe's work in the form of custom made gates, metal bugs, and sculptures decorating peoples' yards. Gabe believes his purpose as an artist is to deconstruct society's notion of garbage and create functional beauty where one wouldn't expect it.

The pages above contain creations both found and fabricated, with an eye to the future and a nod to the past. Each work is original, either recycled or custom designed to evoke a response of delight. All have form, some have function. I hope each can be enjoyed.
